OUR RESIDENCE
We are located in the heart of Northern Virginia, in the sought out neighborhood of Greenbriar located in Fairfax County. Upon entering the charming colonial home with abundance of light which radiates throughout the home. The screened in porch and large backyard overlook Big Rocky Run Woods giving a sense of serenity when outdoors. The first level of our spectacular residence boasts a large open kitchen area, breakfast area, dining room, two large living rooms, laundry room, and a powder room. The second floor includes four spacious bedrooms with two full bathrooms, offering each individual their private room giving us the ability to house up to four short term residents or emergency placements. Big fenced rear yard and front yard provides resident opportunities to enjoy the outdoors and participate in recreational activities, such as gardening or sports. Although our bedrooms are fully furnished, we encourage our individuals to make themselves at home by bringing their belongings and decorating their room to fit their personality and preference. Furthermore, our location gives us optimal distance to resources located within the community which provides us with an advantages in offering a vast array of choices for community engagement to each of our individuals. We are only two miles away from Fair Lakes Shopping Centre, Fair Oaks Mall, and major interstates and highways.

At Respite Home, our philosophy is centered around personalized care that addresses the unique needs of each individual. We believe in taking a holistic approach to healthcare that considers the physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing of our client. We pride ourselves in providing a thriving environment for individuals with different abilities and being a part of each individual's journey in obtaining skills to thrive independently in the community. We strive to make our client feel comfortable and cared for during their stay.
EXPERIENCE AND PROFESSIONALISM
With years of experience, our team will meet with you to create a customized care plan that's just right for you. Each DSP is trained and certified in medication management, CPR/First Aide, therapeutic behavioral deescalations strategist (TOVA), and is a human rights regulations advocate.
